Where I live now and a place I lived earlier

House is very important for a living. I moved to Lake Crossing Apartment in northwest Gainesville. There are a lot of apartments in this town. Lake Crossing is much better than my previous apartment. My new home has a good security system, clean and beautiful view and convenient traffic; however, my previous home didn’t have those things. First, Lake Crossing has a good security system that strangers, robbers, and thieves can’t easily enter into. Second, this new home has a clean and beautiful view in garden, swimming pool and house. Third, this apartment is a convenient place that has a good school zone, a shopping mall, and a bus stop. In my opinion, Lake Crossing is much safer, more beautiful, and more convenient than my previous home.

Invitation to Venezuela Home

Venezuela is located in South America. They have very different culture than the US. When you are invited to dinner in a Venezuela home, you’d better go one and a half hour after the appointment time. You should bring a wine, flower, and small gift. They enjoy at a party many kinds of food and alcoholic beverage: whisky, wine, beer. Also, they love to talk to each other late at night about political issues, economy, and child education. Usually, Venezuelans take off shoes in the house and smoking is not allowed inside the building. They wear comfortable dress when invited to dinner and help hostess do the dishes after dinner. I think this custom is a good attitude. I know many Venezuelan friends at school. They have romantic and interesting culture. I hope to visit Venezuela in the near future.

How to get from school to my house
Let me give you a simple direction to get to my house from school. First, turn right on NW 83rd St. At the traffic light at NW 23rd Ave, turn right cross the bridge, and go straight ahead to Ft. Clark Blvd. At the traffic light in front of Hidden Oak Elementary School, take a left turn. Second, pass the first station and “Legacy” apartment. At the end of the Ft. Clark Blvd, take a left turn on Newberry Road, and go straight about one mile. Finally, pass the Bank of America and find “Holiday Inn” on the right. In front of the “Holiday Inn” take a right turn on 75th St. Pass 2 traffic lights. On the left, find a yellow apartment called “Reflections.”

All the Things I hide when people visit my home

I like my home to be clean and organized. I try to clean my home every day after I come home. I have no class on Friday so I relax without cleaning my home on Friday morning. However, one Friday morning, a repair man suddenly visited my home to replace a broken fluorescent lamp in the kitchen. At that time, the kitchen was a mess. The kitchen was full of dirty dish and clothes. Most of worse, I had to show my unpowdered face to him. I was so embarrassed and this is my terrible memory.

A Famous Place to Trip

Traveling gives people pleasure, enjoyment, and good experience.
My family enjoys traveling. We often travel famous place.
I thought one of them is Mount Rushmore, so we went there two years ago.
It is in Rapid City, South Dakota. Mount Rushmore is a memorial that symbolizes America, so I really wanted to see it. President Washington, Jefferson, Roosevelt and Lincoln’s faces were on the black hill. These four presidents represent America’s freedom and democracy.
I thought it was going to be really huge Mount Rushmore, but I was disappointed that it was not big. Mount Rushmore looks like three stories for building for size. However, I was glad that I saw one of the famous places.
